Pilot control DAMS type Main operating unit Main operating units are available with 2 to 20 functions. They are equipped with 3/2-way cartridge valves (type 400, 500, 510 or 600) available in DN10, DN12 or DN20 and connections for high pressure and outflows. The main valves are operated by pressure through a multi-core hose. The pilot control units are equipped with 4/3-way pilot valves, control board and adapter to connect with the multi-core hose. Pilot valves are failure free. Due to safety reasons the functions are available only during manual operation. Pilot control is also available as a compact version equipped with 3/2way cartridges and connecting the pilot control to the installed pilots. Another version allows the main operating unit and pilot control unit to be installed in different areas of powered roof support unit. A multi-core hose with a tiny wire inside one cover hose connects the main operating unit with the pilot control. Multi core wires are equipped with a positioning pin that prevents incorrect assembly. The pilot valve is a double operating valve with 4/3way cartridge valves. Due to safety reasons, the valve is operated only during manual operation. Main operating valves are equipped with 3/2way in a cartridge design. They are available from DN10 to DN20 and are controlled by a hydraulic signal from the pilot distributor and multi-core hose. Main operating valves can also be supplied through the wire directly connected to the cartridge or through channels in the main operating unit.
